The Closer was great, and I was skeptical when Major Crimes first started, but it has not disappointed once! The character development from The Closer continued, with a few regulars added (Sharon, of course, and Rusty) and has been top notch the entire run since episode one. The acting is superb and the writing is some of the best on television – there are no complaints about this show. It is engaging, interesting, and keeps you glued to the set…This season is as good as it gets. It is an absolute travesty that TNT is planning to cancel this popular and extremely well-made show. We can only hope that Amazon or Netflix (or Hulu?) have the insight to pick this up….it is at the top of its game and should continue!!

Final Thoughts

I love this series. This show is a police drama with comedic undertones, slightly dark maybe. Absolutely the best in writing, casting, editing, and acting.
